SOUVENIR PROGRAM
The editorial side of the souvenir program was completed yesterday. Vip at the Valley Springs News made a proof today and it will be delivered to David Farrington and Fran Rupley to look at tomorrow. David, you need to go to the Valley Springs News so that they can scan your signature so it can be placed on your Welcome Message in the program. Fran has offered to proof-read the editorial side of the program. Thank you Fran. Gary Kroll has done an outstanding job in selling the ads for the publication. Gary you should contact Vip at Valley Springs News ASAP so she can start working on the ad copy that you have been building while you have been selling the ads. Thanks.
WBA BANNER
The new WBA banner is now ready at Anchor Printing and will be picked-up tomorrow and delivered to Fran.
OUTSIDE BANNERS
Joe Pena at Rossetti's will be meeting with a representative of a beer company tomorrow regarding the ordering of welcome alumni banners to be hung outside Rossetti's.
TV COVERAGE OF EVENT/SELLING OF DVDs
Ed Lark of Public Access TV, Master of Ceremonies John Wade and myself met today regarding the format of the production and the TV equipment to be used at the Alumni event. Additionally, Public Access TV, a non-profit organization, has agreed to make DVDs of the event for anyone who wants a copy. Public Access TV will charge $20 for each DVD sold. Public Access will provide all administrative work, e.g., copying, labeling, shipping and handling. WBA will not assist in providing assistance to Public Access in the administration of this work, however, for each DVD sold the WBA will receive $5 (five-dollars).
FACILITY SETUP
Lorna and members of her subcommitte have everything in hand regarding the setup of the facility for the event. The clearing of the back hall and the set-up of the tables and chairs will be starting no less than five days prior to the event. Thank you Lorna.
LIST OF ALUMNI ATTENDING THE EVENT
Linda has offered to assist Caroline in generating a list of Alumni attendees. This list will be printed at ValleySprings News and inserted into the publication.
LETTER TO ALUMNI
Plez will be assisting Caroline in generating a letter to the alumni along with a schedule and maps to those alumni who will be attending the event.
POWER WASHING AT BURSON SCHOOL
Fran, Larry and David will be power-washing the old Burson School tomorrow at Valley Springs Elementary.Publicity shots will be taken of them.
SIGNAGE
Late tomorrow afternoon Plez will be meeting with Jose who works for Don Parker regarding the signage and its placement.
FRANK FAGAN
Just a quick note to let you know that the photo of Judge Fowler looks real good in the program. Additionally, I added "Dick" to his name in the program's writeup.
